Atlanta Falcons vs Kansas City Chiefs NFL
This Sunday Atlanta Falcons and Kansas City Chiefs will be facing up each other with contrary conditions. Falcons will keep Matt Ryan as quarterback so that he can work on his mistakes whereas the Chiefs are still struggling to find the perfect quarterback.
Ryan who started off extremely well, leading Atlanta to a 34-21 win over Detroit has been struggling a bit recently but this has not let him & his down. The problems for Chiefs are much intense though; after the loss of Brodie Croyle due to a shoulder injury, Chiefs tried three players for this position against Oakland last week but still none of them could play well enough to save the team from 23-8 defeat. Recently the veteran Damon Huard had to be replaced, due to a neck injury, by the second-year player Tyler Thigpen, who also disappointed his team against the Raiders.
Falcons are doing pretty well with Michael turner doing well on rushing. Ryan also has a strong support with receivers like Roddy White and Michael Jenkins, against the rookie cornerbacks Brandon Flower and Brandon Carr, replacing the veteran Patrick Surtain, this Sunday.
Judging the performance of Chiefs last week against Oaklands, it looks that Turner and Ryan will not be facing a tough time. It is yet to be seen what happens on the Sunday game but if you look at the records, Kansas has beaten the Falcons with eight rushing touchdowns in 56-10 win, when they faced each other last time in 2004. However, Falcons have only beaten the Chiefs for once in 2000.
